OBJETIVOS
La Fraternidad Teológica Latinoamericana (FTL), es una asociación sin fines de lucro, integrada por pensadores evangélicos comprometidos con la vida y misión del pueblo de Dios en América Latina. Sus objetivos son:
1. Promover la reflexión en torno al Evangelio y a su significación para el ser humano y la sociedad en América Latina. Con este fin estimula el desarrollo de un pensamiento evangélico atento a las interrogantes que le plantea la vida en el mundo latinoamericano. Para tal reflexión se acepta el carácter normativo de la Biblia como la palabra escrita de Dios, escuchando bajo la dirección del Espíritu Santo el mensaje bíblico en relación a las relatividades de la situación concreta.
2. Constituir una plataforma de diálogo entre pensadores que confiesen a Jesucristo como Salvador y Señor y estén dispuestos a reflexionar a la luz de la Biblia a fin de comunicar el Evangelio en medio de las culturas latinoamericanas.
3. Contribuir a la vida y misión de las iglesias evangélicas en América Latina, sin pretender hablar en nombre de ellas ni asumir la posición de su vocero en el continente latinoamericano.

1. To promote reflection on the Gospel and its significance for human beings within Latin America society. For this reason, the FTL stimulates the development of an evangelical thinking that is attentive to the questions of life within the Latin American context. In order to obtain such reflection the FTL accepts the normative character of the Bible as the written Word of God, listening, with the direction of the Holy Spirit, to the biblical message in relation to the relativities of the concrete situation.
2. To create a framework for dialogue among thinkers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who are willing to reflect biblically in order to communicate the Gospel within Latin American cultures.
3. To contribute to the life and mission of the evangelical churches in Latin America, without attempting to speak for them nor assuming the position of being their spokes person in the Latin American continent.
